Weddings demand more than flowers—they demand a whisper of intention in every stem. At Agape Floral Creations, we’ve spent the last 14 years understanding the grammar of blooms: how peonies signal abundance, how garden roses hold a secret, how the right white space makes everything else sing.
Owner Rebecca Chen started arranging flowers in 2012 after her own wedding nearly fell apart due to a florist’s miscommunication. She promised herself she’d build something different—a studio where every client felt truly heard. Today, from our light-filled workspace in downtown Portland, we work with couples, families, and moments that matter.
We’ve developed signature arrangements that have become regulars in our clients’ requests:
Our work gravitates toward structure and breathing room. We love using negative space—it forces your eye to move, to linger. Our palette tends toward whites, blush tones, and strategic pops of color rather than rainbow abundance. Textures matter more than volume. Think heirloom roses over grocery-store carnations, eucalyptus and preserved grasses over filler greenery. We often incorporate unexpected elements—dried botanicals, fruit, branches—to add temporal weight.
Spring brings ranunculus and tulips in pastels that make us rethink color entirely. Summer opens up our dahlia library—we’ve built relationships with three specialty growers. Fall becomes about texture: dried materials, hypericum berries, deeper tones. Winter forces creativity; we lean into amaryllis, orchids, and imported branches.
Every arrangement uses flowers sourced within 100 miles when possible. Our core suppliers are farms we’ve visited, people we know by name.
For deliveries within Portland city limits, we offer same-day service on orders placed before 1 PM. Outside the city, we guarantee next-day delivery. Our coolers keep arrangements at 38 degrees—optimal for longevity. Each delivery includes detailed care instructions because a beautiful flower deserves to last.
